Description
Candidate will develop tests and QA (quality assurance) tools and infrastructure to test a high-performance dynamic binary translation system.

This includes:
- Developing tests (including assembly-level test cases).
- Analyzing test results to ensure correct functionality.
- Determining root causes of failures and recommending corrective action.
- Consulting with development engineers in resolution of problems.
- Authoring test plans.
- Using test harnesses and random test generation tools to build regression suites.
- Maintaining documentation of test results.

Candidate will development the tests with a high degree of automation, enforceability, and quality monitoring.

Minimum qualifications:
- Must have a BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with SW QA testing in a production environment, preferably related to dynamic binary translation.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with SW development processes and tools including knowledge of build systems, code management tools, test harnesses, debugging tools and techniques, and defect tracking systems.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with scripting languages, C and assembly programming.

Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Intel 64 instruction set architecture and system architecture would be an added advantage.
- 3+ years of experience with functional or cycle-accurate simulation, FPGAs, counter-based performance analysis, and dynamic optimization would be an added advantage.
