 Job Description

Total Experience: 5-15yrs

Minimum 2+years of relevant experience in Liferay is Mandatory!!!

Position Responsibilities:

·         Develop & design pages, portlets with Liferay portal application server.

·         Strong experience in JSP, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS 2/3, JSR 168/286

·         Excellent programming skills with solid object-oriented development experience with Java

·         Develop themes, layouts and coding for user provisioning system.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills (Must be able to analyze and suggest improvements to existing code and designs)

·         Lead and mentor offshore developers.

·         Prepare and review design, architecture

·         Using automated build and test tools and methods

·         Hands on experience with Linux operating system

·         Deliver projects on-time and to specification with an appropriate level of quality

Job Specifications

Minimum 1+ years designing, building, and maintaining functionality for enterprise-professional web sites & applications (Must be able to demonstrate significant contributions to past projects)

Experience in a software development position working with Java

Experience in of cross platform JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

Experience in working on web-based enterprise applications and user interface.

·                     development experience with a portal java product like Liferay, Websphere portal, Sun Portal

Excellent Java coding, programming practices with solid object-oriented development experience and debugging skills

Strong knowledge of JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Struts, YUI/AUI framework, JSF, Spring, AJAX a must, Flash Flex a plus, XML/SOAP/REST (Web services), XSL, Velocity

Strong analytical and problem solving skills (Must be able to analyze and suggest improvements to existing code and designs)

Desired Skill Set:

Experience with developing portal and Portlet applications preferred, Liferay

Experience with Java Portlet Specification (JSR-168, JSR-286), or other component frameworks

Experience with user management systems and websites

Experience with Flash and/or Flex

Excellent presentation and communication skills are a Must.

Should have experience on development in Plug-in & Ext environment.

 Portlet Liferay experience, including administration, developing custom portlets, using out of box portlets, journal content, document library, and ehcache

Experience on Service Builders

 2 years experience with end-to-end design of object-oriented J2EE applications   and Theme Development   

2 years experience HTML, XML, JSP, Javascript,

Hibernate, Spring, WCM, and Tomcat.                                  

Education Qualification:

·         Bachelor of Engineering  or Master of Computer Application or equivalent degree
