Job Description: SanDisk
is seeking a Staff Design Engineer who will work with the Flash design team to
architect, design and develop NAND Flash memory products utilizing state of the
art non-volatile technologies. In this role, the individual will perform the
following duties: Design, simulate, and verify critical circuits like Voltage
regulators, Current and Voltage reference, High Voltage charge pumps, etc.,
using simulation tools. Be a technical mentor to guide, train and lead other
Design Engineers in problem solving, as well as planning. Participate in the
design and verification of Analog blocks. Document and present new
architectures, new and enhanced circuit designs, and simulation results during
design reviews. Work with layout engineers and closely interact with them
during the design phase by reviewing their layout and providing input as
needed. Verify and characterize silicon using lab equipment's and testers.
Propose innovative circuit solutions and design methodologies. Own the
responsibility of the project and motivate team to adhere to the schedule and
deliver best Quality. Communicate effectively with Off-site counterparts and
sync up the teams of either sides. Build team and contribute to developing
processes.
Desire Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5
or more years of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven
ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated
and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with
people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and
outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and
verbal) and interpersonal skills.
