Job Description
This position specializes in the development,
deployment and maintenance of Broadcoms enterprise B2B integration platform.
This employee will work closely with functional organizations, business
analysts, application developers, and various business users to define,
document, test, deploy, and supporting which includes troubleshooting various
eCommerce solutions. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop
lifecycle integrations from/to trading partners into/out of ERP and data
warehouse applications. This includes creation of business process, translation
objects, data validation, archival, error resolution, webform development and
transaction maintenance within Sterling GIS application. Develop and
maintenance of web forms for users to manage exceptions. Manage source code
control and application security for dev/test/prod environments of the GIS
application suite. Define and validate SOX audit controls to ensure data and
application integrity. Perform GIS fresh install, upgrade and applying of GIS patches
Maintain and enhance the scalability and availability of the overall GIS
infrastructure as the number of B2B transactions and trading partners grow
Undertake GIS administration work which encompasses Managing GIS certificates,
customer certificates, log shipping activities, apply GIS patches, maintaining
user access and permissions, support of Operating system patches. Experience
with integrations with SAAS based CRM systems is preferred. *L1-JMI
Desired Profile
4 - 6 years of development and support
experience with RossettaNet/EDI/XML technologies using Sterling Commerces
platform Gentran Integration Suite Technical experience with the following
components in GIS; Business Process development, BPML language, EDI & XML
integrations, Service & Adapter configuration, Trading Partner
configuration. Solid understanding of transport technologies, including the
following protocols (HTTP/s, FTP, FTP/s, AS2, SMIME. SMTP), B2B and B2C
portalsVans, Hubs and Portals, Experience with RosettaNet Implementation
Framework (RNIF 1.1, 2.0) Strong understanding of design and analysis concepts,
including techniques governing data sufficiency, normalization, and ERDs..
Requires excellent communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to
communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management, etc. in both
formal and informal situations. Ability to handle high levels of
responsibility, self-directed, with strong organizational and project
management skills. A high degree of creative ability, analytical and technical
skills and independent judgment. Work well with the global organization
consisting of offsite development groups. users, and trading partners. Able to
work well in a matrixed / cross functional environment. Bachelor’s Degree MIS
or Engineering or equivalent.
