Job Description
Prepare the technical specs after understanding the business requirements of the client. Analysis of the problem requested by client and provides the solution accordingly. Program Batch and online program using COBOL, PL/1, JCL, DB2, CICS and VSAM. Involve in production support. Involve in system testing, integrating testing and coordinating with user for acceptance testing. Involve in preparing of test plan and test cases understanding the functionality of the program. Involve in communication with End User, Gathering Business requirements of the project and preparing requirements/ technical specifications for the project. Designed and modified the database tables and involved to write complex SQL, Stored procedures in DB2 Database

Desired Profile
1. PL/1 developer minimum 2.5 years of experience on PL/1.

2. Technical skills: PL/1, DB2 and JCL.

3. Must have good communication, analytical and problem solving skills.

4. Experience in client facing.

5. Able to take initiatives and be responsible by taking ownership of the task assigned.

6. Experience in designing and development of batch applications.

7. Ability to write technical specifications for given task.

8. Documentation of test plans and executing test cases in test lab in QC.

9. Basic understanding of change and configuration management.

10. Good personal/attitude skills with proactive attitude, good team player abilities.

11. Good communication skills Able to work independently

Educational Qualification: B Tech/B.E/ MCA or equivalent degree
