Job Description
Knowledge of at least two virtualization platforms VMware vsphere/MS
Hyperv mandatory
VDI knowledge/implementation experience most desirable
3-5 years of experience in virtualization using VMware/Hyperv products
or as part of datacenter experience.
Hands on experience in vSphere/ESXi, vCentre, vStorage, Capacity Planning.
Deep understanding of VMware, MS-Hyperv, server systems design,
cluster management and hosted solutions in a high availability data center.
Knowledge on Storage (NAS, SAN, Fibre Channel, iSCSI) and Products
like HP EVA, XP, EMC
Networking Expertise: Should have a good understanding of IP, VPNs,
DHCP, DNS, SSL, PKI, network routing, firewalls and switching.
Technical certification in VMware, Microsoft, redhat, HP-UX would be a
plus.
Awareness about databases, middleware and other components of infrastructure.
Presales/solving experience in responding to RFPs, RFIs and effort
estimation.
Delivery/solving experience in IAAS, PAAS and HPs cloud solutions like
Cloud system Matrix, cloud services automation will be added advantage.
10-13 years practical, Hands-on IT experience
6-8 years in Datacenter consolidation/Migration Linux and Windows
system design, installation,
administration in a large data center and playing lead role in
datacenter consolidation projects.
Good communication and customer facing experience.
Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA / MBA.
