Job Description
Reporting to the Manager Service Delivery Operations in the India, the
Business Operations Analyst will support corporate goals and objectives. The
incumbent will be working closely with the senior leadership team supporting
operations, planning, reporting, analysis, and follow up on actionable recommendations.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and
possesses a broad understanding of business goals and has had experience in an
operations environment. The Business Operations Analyst will be a part of the
500+ Service Delivery Operations Organization in Akamai and the incumbent will
be working out of the Bangalore office.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Catering to the Routine and One-Off Reporting
requirements from Global Service Operations organization.
Pro-active Analysis of the Metrics tracked and providing analytical
insights of the Business to Functional / Regional leadership teams on recurring
basis
Engaging regularly with Services Leadership teams to provide updates
for informed decision making.
Ensure effective data management and reporting on key metrics for
operations. Create reports and analyze data for patterns that indicate problems
that need to be addressed or opportunities to investigate. Investigate root
causes and work with Operations and Senior Management to address any issues.
Managing multiple assignments and deliverable at the same time.
Preparing presentations and reviews for executive business discussions
and being an active member in leading the discussions.
Being an active part of Projects / Initiatives / Programs driven
across regions, and work hand in hand with the teams to drive success.
Work closely with IT/Business Applications to estimate and justify new
efforts, define business requirements, and ensure effective business user
acceptance testing.
QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES: Masters degree in Business
Administration or Bachelors in Commerce with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Strong Analytical Skills with ability to provide data backed analysis.
Excellent understanding of operational concepts and operational
modeling capabilities.
Hands-on experience with Data Analysis Tools like MS Excel.
Knowledge / Experience in working on an ERP environment like Siebel
Analytics / Oracle is preferred.
Strong drive for results, ability to handle ambiguity and cross team
dynamics.
Good Communication (oral and written), Presentation and Interpersonal
skills.
