As a Software
Engineer you will work as part of a team that owns product development and
strategy. As a developer, you will also be responsible for quality of the
product in terms of unit testing and troubleshooting. As part of the Research
and Development function, the overall focus of the group is on competitive
market and customer requirements, supportability, technology advances, product
quality, product cost and time-to-market. Software engineers focus on
enhancements to existing products as well as new product development.

In-depth expertise
in Java/J2EE Server side programming, developing REST APIs, MVC programming,
and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, etc.
Development
experience on Linux/Unix platform.
Hands-on expertise
in Web Services / XML / JSON & standard data exchange formats is a must.
Expertise in using
code management systems such as Perforce, SVN, etc. is a must.
Good understanding
of Web Technologies – JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, Bootstrap and CSS
Very good knowledge
and experience with VMware Virtualization technologies
Knowledge on
developing VMware plugins would be a plus.
Working knowledge on
Tomcat Web Server, Linux
Knowledge of storage
technologies and/or shared infrastructure environments
Some level of
experience in data management (modeling, storage management, and analytics
(both real-time and historical).
Experience in
working in Agile teams is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability
to have completed multiple, complex technical projects
