The SAP Senior CRM Engineering Professional plays an important role in the success of the

Adobe`s Customer Experience Technology Services Team.

Strong SAP development experience with 7 to 10 years in ABAP development

Extensive hands on experience in CRM area (middleware concepts, Chat skills, interface with other web based UI, BAPI, Service gateway, BADI architecture,REST services ).

Knowledge of HTML5, Basic Java is a Plus.

This senior engineer must be able to work effectively with globally staffed cross functional teams, be able to manage multiple work tasks simultaneously, design complex solutions, and deliver the required ABAP programming.

The scope of the work includes architectural, solution design, mentoring, project centered implementation, features implementation, enhancements and ongoing support.

Work with functional Information Technology and Business teams to design and deliver complex end to end solutions based on the SAP CRM platform

Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads to ensure that new solutions are delivered within consistent framework

Work effectively and independently on assigned projects

Recognize critical elements of complex application problems, develop and evaluate solutions, make logical recommendations

Express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing

Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with architectural, functional, system administrators, quality assurance team members

Write clear and logical reports, program documentation, and instructions

Develop quality code and its associated documentation adhering to team development standards.

Provide SAP support including analysis, development, testing, tracking and resolution.

Demonstrate high level of communication skills (verbal and written).

Ensure current skills are up-to-date through research and practice.

Participate in team activities and team planning with the aim of improving team skills, awareness and quality of work.

Experience Qualifications:

More than 7 years of recent full-time experience in advanced ABAP programming

Experience on CRM 5.0 preferred

Experience with all phases of the software development cycle

Broad knowledge of CRM functional areas; particularly CRM Sales Order Management (SOM) and 

CRM Master Data concepts

Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, object oriented design techniques, software engineering best practices.

Technical Qualifications: Mandatory

SAP CRM 5.0, 6.0 or 7.0

OO ABAP

Data Dictionary, ABAP Workbench and Transport Management tools and concepts

Performance tuning, best practices, troubleshooting and monitoring techniques

Interface programming: BDOCs and ALE, file based interfaces, a/s/q/tRFC, BAPIs and BOR,

LSMW

UI programming: User Dialogs (dynpros), ALV, Smart Forms, Interactive Adobe PDF Forms,

Enhancements & Modifications Techniques: classical user exits, BADIs and enhancements

Familiarity with the main SAP related web standards, languages and protocols: HTML4/5, XML,

JSON, JS, (s)HTTP, SSL

Technical Qualifications: Desirable

SAP ECC 6.0 (7.40)

SAP CRM 5.0/7.0

Advanced UI programming: BSP, ABAP WebDynpro, SAPUI5 or HTML5

Familiarity with SOA principles, RESTful Web Service Architecture and related SAP application specifics

The Senior SAP ABAP Engineer plays an important role in the success of the Customer Experience Technology Services Team. This individual will work with the team responsible for global SAP

engineering team for strategic projects delivered by IT.
